I'm going Totally Locally Calderdale - a great place to shop

On Tuesday 2nd March as this is written there are now 68 businesses signed up to the Fiver Fest with their £5 offers and now is the time to take advantage of them.

Whether you are a chocoholic, shopoholic, like being pampered, want to microchip your pet or just like great offers, then look no further. Don't forget to keep checking this list as it is being updated on a regular basis. Companies such as Hepworth Honda, the RSPCA, Calderdale College, the Courier, the Works, the Milk Bar, Simply Flowers, The Tapas Bar and many more are running offers as part of the campaign.

CALLING ALL SHOPS
Introducing

THE TOTALLY LOCALLY  “FIVER-FEST”.
26th February - 14th March

The Totally Locally campaign has encouraged people to spend at least £5 per week in their local shops, which in turn feeds back into the local economy, making Calderdale a better place to live (see overleaf).

Now we want to make it fun & easy for them to do so.

FIVER FEST is a designated fortnight when we ask local businesses to create a £5 special offer to the public, to show them what great things they can buy locally for a fiver.

So here’s your challenge:

We want you all to come up with your FIVER-FEST offer.

It could be a £5 special meal, a £5 fruit and veg box, a £5 meat pack or a £5 flower bouquet. It could be one product, it could be loads. You could designate a shelf or rail in your shop to the Fiver Offer. Make it special, make it great value, make it interesting & make it a quality offer. most of all be as creative & innovative as you can.

We’ll help you with the Point of Sale material.
Tell your neighbours - the more businesses that take part in the campaign and the more innovative the offer, the more it will capture the hearts of local people. They will then become more excited about shopping locally, which in turn feeds your profits.

We will be promoting the campaign through press, web, advertising and through leaflets & posters. If enough people get involved we know we’ll get national news coverage (as we did with the launch of Totally Locally).

We are in a unique position where Calderdale people now genuinely WANT to support their local shops & businesses - we just need to give them a helping start on their journey.

It’s your chance to shine, we want to help you, so let’s make it happen!
